Individual, Relationship and Couples Counselling

New Blog: ZoeDCounselling.wordpress.com

Many of my clients tell me the hardest part of counselling (individual or couples) can be making the first contact. People can feel out of control and caught up in the chaos of their feelings and that it seems impossible that there is a way out. Knowing what happens after first contact may help
After a phone chat you would come to my practice for a preliminary session where we explore more deeply the current situation and how I might be able to help you.

There is no charge for the preliminary session.

If we agree that we can work together as your counseller, we would make an arrangement to see each other weekly for a set time or open ended. Weekly is best but we can talk about what would work around your commitments. If I think you would be better being referred to another type of counselling then I will help you find the right counsellor, for me the focus is on you getting the right help from the right person.

I Can Help

Over the years I have counselled couples and individuals who have come with a variety of issues to explore: Recently divorced/separated, an inability to maintain lasting relationships, anxiety, infidelity, simply growing apart, debt, death, addictions, sexual abuse, sexual orientation, promiscuity, integrating step children into a second marriage/relationship, infertility, childhood trauma.

Relationships are complex and the issues that can arise are many and varied.
